The seminar "Beyond archaeological excavations: Studies and analysis of research projects in Menorca" will take place on June 15 at the Museu de Menorca and streaming (Youtube: Museu de Menorca). Nine teams of researchers currently working in the island will present a some studies and analysis of their research projects linked to the excavations of Menorcan sites.
The aim is to create an interaction between professionals and researchers with one main goal: to make Menorcan archaeology and heritage known to society through the archaeologists themselves. We will be able to learn about the lines of research ranging from the consumption of drugs in the Es Càrritx cave, the consumption of piglets in sa Mola, the production of metals, the role of the lithic industry in the processes of elaboration of certain foods, as well as the operational chain that was used for the manufacture of the different ceramic tools.
